People search
Search returns profile ids. A second call returns the records. Use it when the work is finding people by role, employer, location, seniority, or skills.
Start with 100 API Credits.
Free, on a key you create yourself. No card. After email verification, this browser opens API keys with the create dialog.
Then set it as METIX_KEY. Do not paste the key into the chat or a file.
Who it is for
Recruiting, research, and agents that need a filtered list and then the records behind it. One dataset only. Work that also needs jobs or companies starts in the platform assistant.
What a call does
- A structured query uses the closed field list from
GET /contract. It has no base charge.POST /v1/people/queryreturnsprofile_ids,total, andnext. - Natural language (
POST /v1/people-search, fieldtext) is for constraints that will not sit on fields. It keeps a 5 API Credit base even when it returns no ids. This packaging run did not call that route. - Detail reads up to 100 ids at
POST /entity/v1/profiles/detail-by-id. Name the fields in_source. Search never returns the records. - Contact probe and unlock live here, after the list is already narrow. Unlock needs a paid account. Signup credits are refused with a 403 for every contact kind.
What you need
This skill, METIX_KEY, and HTTPS to https://mira-api.metix.ai. MCP is optional and uses the same key. Field names in this page are the ones the public skill already calls. If the live contract disagrees, the contract wins.
Three measured searches
All three were run on 2026-10-13 against API 2.1.2. Each search asked for one id (size: 1). Personal names were not requested.
Data engineers in the United States
current_title match "data engineer", location.country eq "United States"
Total 67074. The one record read back was current title Big Data Engineer, country United States.
Backend engineers, five or more years, current financial services
title, country, total_experience_months gte 60, and one current experience in Financial Services
Total 591. Records were not pulled. The public skill uses this shape to count before a detail call.
Product managers in Germany
current_title match "product manager", location.country eq "Germany"
Total 41378. The one record read back was current title Product Owner Product Manager, country Germany.
Limits
- Exact fields take
eqorinwith the whole stored value.matchis only for free-text fields. A country is"United States", not a code. - A search is charged
ceil(results / 25)API Credits. These examples returned one id, so each search was 1. Detail of one found record is 1. Empty structured searches are free. - Contact unlock is charged per value returned, reserves the worst case up front, and takes at most 25 people per call. Probe takes at most 50 and is priced like a search. Neither was called in this run.
- The skill retrieves records. It does not score a person against a role.
