The useful part

Bring the records.

Provide invoices or receipts and choose a vendor, category, date, or custom filing rule.

PDF text extraction or image reading comes from your assistant.

Leave with order.

Receive consistently named copies, organized folders, an invoice-summary CSV, and an exception list.

Review the proposed copy plan and preserve the originals.

For the everyday paper trail

Useful for operators,
freelancers, and small teams.

An instruction Skill

Your assistant does the work.

Open the included SKILL.md in a file-capable AI assistant or add the folder through its supported Skill installation flow. The source guides reading, extracting, proposing, copying, and reporting. It does not bundle an OCR engine, accounting integration, or always-on watcher.

No additional API key is required. Model access and file tools are still needed. Your assistant's subscription, model, or processing charges may apply. Use a dedicated folder of records you are authorized to process.

One Codex demonstration filed three unique complete invoices, retained an exact duplicate, and flagged a record with missing fields. Known unique subtotal: USD 253.60.

A small text-PDF demonstration, not an OCR accuracy, speed, tax, or compliance benchmark. Images, encrypted PDFs, imports, other assistants, and real financial records were not tested.

Know the limits

Filing categories do not establish deductibility. Review extracted facts against originals. Ambiguous scans, incomplete records, split invoices, and duplicates may need human judgment. No automatic email access, bank access, monitoring, or accounting sync is installed.
