What if you could see 10 AI tools in action, try them yourself, and use them to solve real problems — all in one session?

Buildfest: Demos and Challenges is a demo day, hands-on event where sponsors will show you what their tools can do, and then give you a small challenge to solve.

No long workshops. No hours of setup.

You’ll see → try → build → solve.

Whether you're a developer, student, founder, designer, researcher, or just curious about AI, you can jump in at your level.

Event Format

You’ll start with a set of 10 sample datasets covering different real-world problems. You can choose one of them to work with, or bring your own dataset and problem.

PS: You can convert the pdf to excel through online convertor

Pick a problem

You can work on problems like: Build a system that creates study plans for students, Help shoppers find the right product based on their needs, Automate information extraction and processing from invoices, Build an AI travel planner, Summarize notes and extract important actions, Match candidates to jobs and help recruiters screen applications, Analyze restaurant data and identify inventory/demand problems, Build an AI system that answers common customer questions, Turn a simple idea into a structured content workflow, Find and evaluate promising problems and ideas or choose your own problem and build something that matters to you.

How It Works

Each sponsor will have a short demo + challenge.

First, they'll show you their product in action and explain what it does, why it is useful, and how you can use it.

Then you'll get a small challenge where you can try the tool yourself.

You don't need to use every tool. Use whichever sponsor tools make sense for your problem — one, several, or all of them.

The goal is to understand how each tool can be used and then combine the right tools to solve a problem.

You Can Mix and Match Tools

The challenges are not isolated.

You can use one tool, several tools, or all of the sponsor tools to solve your problem.

For example, you could:

Choose a problem → use Ask the W to plan it → use Flatkey to choose a model → build a pipeline with Rocket Ride → create multiple agents with Kylon → do code review in Tenki → Run workload in wasmer.

Or ignore that entire workflow and create your own.

The point is to experiment and discover how different AI tools fit together.

Sponsors

Tenki

Tenki provides sandbox environments, cloud compute, and runners for executing code and workloads. It gives builders a place to experiment, run, and scale their work.

Rocket Ride

Rocket Ride helps developers build AI and data pipelines directly in their IDE. It makes it easier to connect data, AI models, processing steps, and outputs into repeatable workflows.

Flatkey

Flatkey is a unified access layer for AI, connecting teams to 328+ official AI models through one API. It supports models from providers such as GPT, Claude, Gemini, DeepSeek, Qwen, and more, with transparent pricing and automatic failover.

FinChip

FinChip provides agent skills that give AI agents reusable capabilities for performing specific tasks. Skills can help make agents more useful, structured, and consistent.

Kylon

Kylon helps you create AI agents that can run business processes. You can turn workflows into agents that understand tasks, use tools, and take actions.

Ask the W

Ask the W helps you figure out what is worth building with AI. It helps identify good ideas, tasks that can be handled by agents, places where human judgment is needed, and the next steps to take.

Sartorial

Sartorial helps make products more intelligently discoverable and recommendable. It adds context such as social proof, material, fit, color, promotions, image meaning, and brand-specific ranking judgment to product discovery.

Wasmer

Wasmer provides a way to execute WebAssembly universally. It helps developers package and run code across different environments in a portable and consistent way.

PromptQL

PromptQL is a multiplayer AI workspace with a built-in Wiki for AI-first teams. Think of it like Slack for teams working with AI — where conversations can turn into shared knowledge, decisions, and execution.

Unlimit

Unlimit is the global financial infrastructure for the borderless agentic economy. Designed to bridge the gap between fragmented local markets and the future of autonomous commerce, Unlimit provides the programmable operating layer for the world’s most ambitious businesses.

Light Sage

Light Sage builds infrastructure for the agent economy, helping companies track and improve how AI agents discover and use their APIs, CLIs, and MCPs. It also created DevToolArena, a benchmark for developer tools.

Massive

Massive provides web access for AI agents, models, and data pipelines through millions of volunteer devices across 195+ countries. Its API enables reliable, real-time access to websites at scale.

Lore

Lore enables teams and their AI agents to collaborate on work-in-progress across tools like Claude, Codex, and Cowork. It brings knowledge work out of silos so people and agents can learn from each other as they work.

AdaL

AdaL is an automation-first agent harness designed to get more done with less of your time. She combines personality, skills, and memory to become a personalized agent that can work alongside you.
