Description
Problem Skeleton rewrites a problem as its bare structure: the object being acted on, the constraint that makes it hard, the mechanism that would solve it, and the motivation behind it, with domain-specific words removed. Searching with a problem's structure can surface fields that have solved something similar. The skill checks every skeleton for leftover domain words and for being too vague or too narrow. It supports cross-domain analogies with a required "where it breaks" column, structural search of your own notes that quotes hits verbatim with their file paths, and a JSON skeleton for other tools. It works in any language. Analogies are hypotheses to test, each with the smallest experiment that would test it. Includes SKILL.md, an output-format reference, and five worked examples in Chinese and English. This product is part of brain2: https://github.com/EnormousMush/brain2
